W Hotels, part of Marriott International’s global brand portfolio, is hiring an Event Services Talent Coach (Supervisor – Banquet) for its property in Riyadh’s Financial District. Position Overview
The Event Services Talent Coach will lead and coach the banquet team on the floor during events, ensuring guest needs are met, banquet spaces are properly set up, and service standards are consistently upheld across every function.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure staff work together as a team and inspect grooming and attire, addressing any deficiencies
- Communicate with guests and other departments to ensure guest needs are met
- Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
- Set up and inspect banquet areas for cleanliness and proper setup of furniture and equipment
- Document pertinent information in department logbooks
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees
- Follow company safety and security policies, reporting accidents or unsafe conditions
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and service standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
