Tahaluf, the Saudi-based B2B events powerhouse behind LEAP and Cityscape, is growing the operations team behind its Portfolio 3 events — including CPHI Middle East, the Umrah & Ziyarah Forum and the Saudi Maritime & Logistics Congress — and is hiring an Operations Manager on a 9-month contract to help lead delivery.

Position Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for the professional operational delivery of allocated events, features and projects, ensuring every show is delivered to the highest standard. Reporting to the Head and Senior Operations Managers, the role will eventually take full ownership of running key event streams, including high-level ministry engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the key point of contact for show teams on all matters relating to allocated shows
Set, forecast and achieve operational show budgets for allocated events
Lead the successful show management and technical delivery of physical and digital events
Manage production and implementation of show project plans, ensuring tasks are completed within deadlines
Ensure all allocated events work within the company’s health, safety, security and sustainability guidelines
Oversee production and delivery of the show exhibitor manual, and manage registration and welcome-area suppliers
Compile post-event reports and KPI analysis, and monitor the performance of key contractors
Manage, mentor and develop line reports within the Operations team

Qualifications

Educated to degree level or equivalent, with 5 years of events or exhibition industry experience
Track record independently managing operations on multiple large events to a consistently high standard
Strong and effective verbal and written skills in Arabic and English
IOSH Managing Safety certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum; willingness to travel across the EMEA region
