Position Overview
As Event Services Talent Coach (Supervisor-Banquet), you will lead the banquet team on the floor, ensuring flawless setup and execution of events while coaching, training, and motivating staff to deliver on W’s signature guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure staff work together as a team and inspect grooming and attire before service
- Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
- Set up and inspect banquet areas for cleanliness, proper setup, and agreement with group requirements
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and resolve service issues
- Follow all safety and security policies and report unsafe work conditions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Ability to stand, walk, and move event equipment for extended periods
