Tahaluf, the largest B2B live and on-demand events organiser in Saudi Arabia, is opening new Exhibition Director jobs in Riyadh as it scales its portfolio of record-breaking shows. A joint venture between Informa PLC, SAFCSP, and the Events Investment Fund, Tahaluf runs some of the region’s biggest events, including LEAP, Cityscape, Black Hat MEA, and CPHI Middle East.

Position Overview

The Exhibition Director will lead the long-term growth and commercial success of one of Tahaluf’s flagship events, owning strategy, exhibition sales, sponsorship, visitor marketing, conference content, and on-site delivery. The role reports into senior leadership and works closely with government stakeholders and the wider Informa Markets business.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a rolling strategic plan to grow the event’s brand, market share, and revenue
Own commercial and operational performance, including exhibition sales, sponsorship, and visitor marketing
Prepare and manage the annual budget and quarterly forecasts against financial targets
Build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders, clients, partners, and industry associations
Lead, coach, and develop the wider event team, including sales and delivery staff
Track industry trends and the competitive landscape to shape the event’s positioning and content

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience leading large-scale B2B exhibitions with a proven commercial track record
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Strong commercial acumen across financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior government officials
Arabic language proficiency (spoken and written) is highly desirable
