ShowTex, the worldwide leader in flame-retardant textiles and suspension systems for stage, set, and event design, is opening Sales jobs in Riyadh as it grows its new Saudi branch. From theatre drapes and scenic fabrics to trade show displays and event decoration, ShowTex has spent more than 40 years tackling the most creative challenges in set building, stage, and stand design across offices in Europe, the Middle East, North America, South Africa, Asia, and Australia.
Position Overview
The Sales and Project Manager will be based in Riyadh, developing new business and managing client relationships across ShowTex’s event textiles and trade show portfolio, while owning projects from prospection through on-site installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up prospection meetings and attend trade shows and events to build market knowledge
- Research and plan ahead of client meetings and industry events
- Grow sales volumes and identify new market opportunities
- Develop strategies with colleagues to respond to industry trends and changes
- Provide clients with samples, marketing materials, and competitive quotations
- Manage projects end-to-end: on-site meetings, surveys, measurements, and production briefings
- Coordinate production, transport, and installation with internal teams
- Stay available and communicative with clients throughout and after the sale
Qualifications
- Based in Saudi Arabia, with 3–5 years’ hands-on project management experience, ideally in event textiles, event production, audiovisual production, or entertainment
- Proficiency in Arabic (reading, writing, speaking) is a significant advantage
- A hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional sales, operations, and technical teams
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Proficiency in project documentation, scheduling, and resource management
