Position Overview: Event Sales Specialist Job in Riyadh
The Event Sales Specialist will run a full sales cycle for events industry clients — from lead generation and RFP analysis through proposal development and CRM-based revenue forecasting. Success depends on strong client discovery, sharp presentation skills, and close collaboration with creative and technical delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage C-suite stakeholders and marketing heads through proactive outreach and networking
- Represent the company at industry events to build pipeline and brand visibility
- Lead discovery sessions to capture client briefs and analyze RFP/RFQ documents for win themes
- Direct creative and technical teams to shape feasible, on-brand technical proposals
- Build financial bids that balance competitive pricing with margin protection
- Create high-impact presentations using tools such as Canva or PowerPoint
- Lead internal kickoff meetings to hand won business to the project management team
- Maintain full CRM accuracy (HubSpot/Salesforce/Odoo) and provide monthly revenue forecasts
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in the events industry or a high-stakes service sector such as production, luxury marketing, or agency work
- Verifiable track record securing large-scale projects and managing multinational key accounts
- Ability to perform under the high-pressure deadlines typical of the events industry
- Expert-level proficiency in presentation software and CRM systems
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Multilingual proficiency and an existing network in corporate, tech, or luxury sectors are a plus
