The brand is now hiring an Events Coordinator to support its food and beverage and banquet operations team.
Position Overview
This is one of the Events Coordinator jobs in Dammam’s growing hospitality and events market, posted directly by Sheraton Hotels & Resorts. The successful candidate will support banquet and event operations, working closely with group coordinators and hosts to ensure every function runs smoothly from setup through post-event follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with group coordinators and hosts prior to functions to confirm arrangements and make introductions
- Read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information and determine room setup, timelines and specific guest needs (buffets, action stations, etc.)
- Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements, following up to ensure full compliance
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to brand standards, anticipating and addressing service needs
- Coordinate with colleagues across departments to support smooth event execution and reach shared goals
- Maintain uniform and appearance standards, and adhere to all safety, security and confidentiality policies
- Perform other event-related duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience in hospitality, food and beverage or events
- Strong communication skills and clear, professional telephone etiquette
- Ability to stand, walk and move for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg) without assistance
- No prior supervisory experience or certification required
