The role sits at the centre of the judging and ceremony cycle, coordinating stakeholders, partners, and evaluation processes across multiple program editions.
Position Overview
The Awards & Competitions Project Manager leads the end-to-end planning, development, and delivery of awards, competitions, and recognition programs, coordinating nomination, evaluation, and judging processes and managing communication with applicants, judges, and partners through to the ceremony.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of awards and competition programs
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and implementation frameworks
- Coordinate with internal teams, partners, participants, judges, and external stakeholders
- Manage nomination, application, screening, evaluation, and judging processes
- Develop and monitor eligibility criteria, scoring methodologies, and competition guidelines
- Coordinate workshops, judging sessions, pitch events, and ceremonies
- Track project KPIs, risks, budgets, and deliverables
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and post-program reports, and document lessons learned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, Events Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in project or program management
- Previous experience managing awards, competitions, accelerators, challenges, or events highly preferred
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
- Excellent planning, coordination, and communication capabilities
- Strong Arabic and English communication skills
