Beautyworld Riyadh Postponed to 2027 Amid Regional Developments

Messe Frankfurt Saudi Arabia announced in April 2026 that Beautyworld Riyadh, the Kingdom’s leading beauty exhibition, has been postponed from its original dates of May 18-20, 2026, to June 21-23, 2027. The event will still be held at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center.

According to organizers, the decision was made “to preserve the international scale of the exhibition, ensure high-quality participation and maintain strong commercial value, while prioritizing the safety, wellbeing and trust of exhibitors, sponsors, partners and staff.” Reports linked the rescheduling to a wider wave of regional developments that disrupted travel, logistics and business confidence across the Middle East during that period.

Teresa Heitor, portfolio director of consumer goods at Messe Frankfurt Middle East, said the decision followed “extensive consultation with our stakeholders across the market and a careful assessment of the current operating environment,” adding that the priority was to “bring the industry together in a way that ensures meaningful engagement, strong business outcomes, and a high-caliber event experience.” Flyn Roberts, chief commercial officer, called it “a measured decision,” expressing confidence it was “the right step to protect the positioning and long-term value of the event.”

Beautyworld Riyadh was not the only event affected. Qatar’s Design Doha Biennial was rescheduled to November 5-7 (with exhibitions remaining on view through year-end), having originally been planned for April 16-June 30. Saudi Arabia’s 12th Saudi Film Festival, hosted at Ithra in Dhahran, moved from April 23-29 to June 25-July 1. In Abu Dhabi, the Middle East Film & Comic Con shifted from April 24-26 to September 11-13 at ADNEC.

Despite the postponement, Beautyworld Riyadh’s organizers said they remain confident the new 2027 dates will deliver an improved experience for exhibitors and visitors alike.
