Tahaluf Announces Postponement of LEAP 2026
Tahaluf, the organizing company of LEAP, the world’s most attended tech event, announced today that the 2026 edition of LEAP has been postponed from April 13-16 to the period from August 31 to September 3, 2026, at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Centre in Malham, coinciding with the fifth anniversary of the event’s launch, in an edition expected to bring together an elite of the global AI and technology community and to be the largest and most impactful in the event’s history.
According to the company, the new date was set following direct consultations with LEAP’s global community of investors, partners, entrepreneurs, and AI and technology leaders, as LEAP 2026 was carefully designed to align with the aspirations and needs of innovators and change-makers around the world, with the aim of advancing human progress.
The company noted that the September timing reflects clear and repeated recommendations from the LEAP community, confirming that early September represents the ideal period to achieve the highest levels of international participation, complete deals, and enhance interaction between global capital and the Kingdom’s growing tech ecosystem.
LEAP 2026 builds on the significant momentum the event has achieved over the past four years, having attracted more than 200,000 participants from over 180 countries, contributing to establishing Riyadh’s position as a global hub for artificial intelligence, technology, and investment, bringing together founders, investors, decision-makers, and industry leaders to shape the future.
This growth comes backed by the strength of the Kingdom’s tech ecosystem, as the digital economy’s size rose to $139 billion, representing 16% of GDP, while venture capital investments exceeded $1.72 billion, placing the Kingdom first regionally for the third consecutive year.
